Sentencing Underway For Driver Who Killed State Patrol Cadet

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – The man found guilty of killing a Colorado State Patrol cadet near Longmont is being sentenced in a Boulder County court hearing Tuesday.

Christopher Gebers was driving high and recklessly as he took off from a traffic stop in May 2015. He hit and killed Cadet Taylor Thyfault and also struck Cadet Clinton Rushing.
