Senators Seek Inquiry Into Concerns About Veteran’s Suicide

DENVER (AP) – Two senators have asked for an investigation into a whistleblower’s report that a veteran committed suicide while awaiting treatment for post-traumatic stress at a Colorado VA clinic.
Sens. Cory Gardner of Colorado and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin said Tuesday they asked the Veterans Affairs Department inspector general to look into wait times at a Colorado Springs clinic.
