Schools On Lockdown As Police Search For Carjacking Suspects

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) – A carjacking in Thornton caused three schools to be placed on lockdown Monday morning.
Officers pursued two suspects into the area around West 68th Avenue and Pecos Street, where the pursuit ended and an orange Bronco was found, the original vehicle involved in the carjacking.
A black male and a woman were seen leaving the area and placing a firearm in a bag.
