Rogers Fire Burns Several Structures, Evacuations Reinstated

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) – A 24-acre wildfire west of Longmont burned structures and forced evacuations for several hours Friday morning. Those evacuations were lifted and then reinstated a short time later on Friday afternoon.

The Rogers Fire started sometime after 6 a.m. near Frog Belly Farms, close to 51st and Rogers Road and about two miles west of Vance Brand Airport. It’s not clear what triggered it.
