Rescue Mission: 1,500-Pound Boulder Falls On Hiker

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) – A woman hiking on North Table Mountain was trapped by a 1,500 pound boulder, according to Golden fire and police spokesperson Karlyn Tilley.

CBS4 was told the rock apparently fell on her. The victim, who has yet to be identified, has multiple fractures.The victim had been hiking with another man.

The man hiked down the mountain to get cellphone service and called for help.
