Republican Presidential Debate At CU Will Likely Have A Smaller Pool

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – The University of Colorado in Boulder is getting ready for next month’s Republican presidential debate and there will most likely be a smaller pool of candidates on stage at the Coors Event Center.
Candidates in the top-tier of the debate must have an average of at least 3 percent in six national polls from Sept. 17 to Oct. 21. That currently leaves out Rand Paul, Bobby Jindal, Rick Santorum, George Pataki and Lindsey Graham.
