Report: Century Link, Level 3 Communications Merger In The Works

DENVER (CBS4)– A business merger may be in the works that puts a Colorado-based company in with a communications giant.
According to the Wall Street Journal, CenturyLink and Colorado-based Level 3 Communications are in advance talks to become one company.(credit: CBS)
The Journal reports the deal would combine Level 3’s enterprise services and CenturyLink’s consumer internet and telephone services.
Both companies declined to comment on possible merger talks.
