Recent Snow, Winds Create High Country Dangers

FRISCO, Colo. (CBS4) – It was a busy weekend for the Summit County Rescue Group.
“We had two calls that came in maybe 30 minutes of each other,” team member Charles Pittman told CBS4 on Monday.
Pittman and others on his team rushed to three separate Summit County avalanches, all sliding within 24 hours of each other.
On Saturday a massive slide on the east ridge of Bald Mountain caught a skier in a wall of snow and ice.
