Recall Issued For Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Smartphones

(CBS4) – A recall has been issued by the Consumer Product Safety Commission for 1 million Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices due to fire risk.
U.S. regulators say the batteries can explode or catch fire.
Samsung disclosed the issue earlier this month. The company said 2.5 million of the phones have been sold and the problem has occurred a “few dozen” times, according to the Associated Press.
