Rapids Get 1st-Round Draft Pick In SuperDraft Via Trade With LA Galaxy

CARSON, Calif. (AP) – The LA Galaxy have signed former MLS MVP Mike Magee and traded their first-round pick in the SuperDraft to the Colorado Rapids for targeted allocation money.
The Galaxy announced the moves Thursday.
Magee won two MLS Cup titles and became a fan favorite during his first tenure with the Galaxy from 2009-13. The forward spent the past three seasons with the Chicago Fire after getting traded for defender Robbie Rogers, who was re-signed by the Galaxy earlier in the week.
