Puppy falls from backpack, good Samaritans look for owner

A puppy almost died Friday afternoon after it hopped out of its owner's backpack while he was riding his bike near Alameda and Monaco. A good Samaritan picked him up and gave him to a neighbor, who is doing everything they can to find the rightful owner.
