Proposed $28.5 Billion Colorado Budget Affects Transit, Health Care

DENVER (AP) – Gov. John Hickenlooper has presented a $28.5 billion proposed budget for the 2017-2018 fiscal year that calls for balancing measures affecting transportation and health care spending.
The budget presented Tuesday also sets aside $16 million in marijuana sales tax revenue for affordable housing, housing for those with behavioral health issues and programs for the homeless.
