Pre-Drought Expands Into Denver Thanks To Lackluster Monsoon
By Chris SpearsDENVER (CBS4) – The latest report from the U.S. Drought Monitor shows nearly 27 percent of Colorado is now considered abnormally dry, or in pre-drought, including all of metro Denver.Despite several days of humid, moisture-filled air courtesy of the monsoon we haven’t seen widespread rainfall materialize.
Many areas have been reporting drier-than-normal conditions since June.
