Power Outage, Intersection Shut Down After Fatal Crash

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – An intersection in Lakewood was shut down Friday morning due to a fatal car accident.
It happened at the intersection of West 10th Avenue and Garrison Street, where a car hit a power pole. It is unknown if other vehicles were involved.
Xcel crews were scene before 7 a.m. working to make repairs and expected the intersection to remain closed for another three hours.
Power is out for 1700 people in the area, and some traffic lights at intersection may be affected as
