Possible Hash Oil Explosion Injures 2 At Lakewood Motel

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – Two men were hurt after a possible hash oil explosion at a motel in Lakewood Wednesday evening.
According to Ronda Scholting with the West Metro Fire Department, a fire with multiple explosions broke out at the Crossland Motel located in the 700 block of Kipling Street just after 5 p.m.

Scholting told CBS4 firefighters were able to contain the fire to just one room.
Two men in the room sustained minor burn injuries.
