Pipe Bomb Found At Barr Lake State Park

BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4)– A pipe bomb was found at Barr Lake State Park on Monday morning.
The pipe bomb was found by an employee with Colorado State Parks after 8 a.m. Monday in the shallow water in the northeast corner of the lake.
The Adams County Bomb Squad was called to investigate. The pipe bomb was safely removed from the area.It is unclear where the pipe bomb came from or who placed it there but investigators believe the bomb was used for fishing.No one was injured.
