Pinwheels Planted At Capitol For Child Abuse Prevention Month

DENVER (CBS4) – Gov. John Hickenlooper kicked off National Child Abuse Prevention Month at the state capitol building on Friday.
Dozens of blue pinwheels are now planted on the west steps of the building for the month.

Officials also unveiled an art installation called a Hero Mirror. There, people are encouraged to see themselves as heroes who can help stop child abuse.
