Pet Store Owner Sentenced To Probation

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)– One man convicted of keeping animals in filthy conditions at a pet store in Thornton has been sentenced to one year probation.
Kenneth Mark Kubic was one of the owners of Jurassic Pets. Some of the animals at the store were extremely malnourished and died from neglect.
Last year Thornton police searched and seized snakes, lizards, rodents and more from the pet store in Thornton. The seizure came after the group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals infiltrated
