GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) — Prosecutors are presenting testimony against a man accused of killing a Grand Junction woman nearly a decade ago.
Paige Birgfeld’s 17-year-old daughter took the stand Monday as prosecutors began making their case against Lester Jones. Jess Dixon was eight when her mother failed to come home from work in 2007. Her remains weren’t found until 2012.
