‘One Billion Rising’ Focused On Ending Violence Against Women

DENVER (CBS4) – Thousands of demonstrators marched in Civic Center Park on Saturday as part of a national movement to end violence against women.
It was the fifth year of the One Billion Rising event.

The goal was to raise awareness about women suffering from physical and sexual violence.
This year the rally focused on protecting the rights of Native American women.
