Nuggets Waive Sampson, Toupane And Kennedy

DENVER (The Sports Xchange) – The Denver Nuggets waived forwards JaKarr Sampson and Axel Toupane on Saturday.
Sampson was signed by Denver on Feb. 22 and played the final 26 games (22 starts) of the 2015-16 season, averaging 5.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in 18.0 minutes. He has appeared in one game this preseason, with 10 points, three rebounds, one steal and one block in 20 minutes.
