New Wildfire Burns On Table Mountain Near Golden

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) – Firefighters on Friday night were working to contain a wildfire in Jefferson County.

The fire was described as being approximately 30 acres in size at 7 p.m. and it wasn’t threatening any structures.

Some residents in a subdivision south of 56th Avenue were being told to be prepared for a possible evacuation.
There’s no word on what caused the fire.
