New Video Shows Deputy’s Confrontation With Inmate

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) – CBS4 has obtained video of a confrontation between a deputy and an inmate in the Larimer County Jail that cost the deputy his job and resulted in a criminal charge.
The jail video obtained by CBS4 investigators shows what happened between Deputy Simon Suarez and jail inmate Dustin Sims in 2014. The deputy is seen escorting Sims down a hallway when Sims makes some derogatory remarks toward Suarez, which the deputy admitted got under his skin.
