New State Law Could Keep A Repeat DUI Suspect Behind Bars
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)– A new state law in Colorado could keep a man who is facing his ninth DUI conviction off the streets.
Police in Colorado Springs arrested William Nance on Monday after officers said he struck a car.An officer said he found two open cans of beer in his car.Nance has eight previous DUI convictions.
Under a new state law in Colorado, drivers with four of more DUIs could spend up to six years in prison and pay a fine as high as $500,000.
