New Rules Make Marijuana Packaging Safer, Less Appealing To Kids
DENVER (CBS4)– New rules for packaging of both medical and retail marijuana products go into effect Oct. 1. The new packaging requirements have been designed to make the packages safer for adults and less appealing to children.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Colorado Department of Revenue’s Marijuana Enforcement Division worked together to educate residents in Colorado about the new rules.
