New DUI Law Takes Effect Wednesday

DENVER (CBS4) – A new DUI law in Colorado will go into effect Wednesday.
The law will require anyone convicted of felony DUI to spend time in prison.

The legislation was passed earlier this year.
It essentially closes a loophole that allowed some people to avoid prison time while others would get long sentences.
