New Building Code Aims To Make Buildings Safer In Denver

DENVER (CBS4)– The Denver City Council adopted a new building code on Monday night which is designed to bring the city in line with the latest building safety and energy-efficient standards worldwide.
The city council adopted the 2015 International Code Council codes for building safety along with amendments specific to Denver. That means new buildings and old buildings under renovation will be safer and more energy-efficient.
