Neighbor Gets Shot Trying To Stop Thieves

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – A man who tried to stop two people from stealing from a car got shot and wounded overnight.
The man heard loud noises and came outside to see the two people trying to steal items or possibly parts from his neighbor’s car. Police said the two people then fired shots and injured the man at 12:48 p.m. They drove off in a different vehicle after that.
