Nearly 1 Million Along Colorado’s Front Range In Drought

By Chris SpearsDENVER (CBS4) – A government drought report released on Thursday contained some bad news for part of Colorado’s Front Range.
According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, Denver’s northern and eastern suburbs have been added into a growing area of moderate drought, which now extends from Aurora to Fort Collins.A second area of moderate drought was developing in east-central Colorado on the eastern side of the Palmer Divide.
