Navy: SEAL From Highlands Ranch Death Blamed On Errors

CORONADO, Calif. (AP) — The Navy investigation into last year’s death of a SEAL from Highlands Ranch during parachute training blames errors made by supervisors and inexperience.Jason Kortz, 29, plummeted to his death after his main parachute got tangled during a high-altitude jump in March 2015.
A Naval Special Warfare probe cited that Kortz’s body position was wrong when he exited the aircraft.
