Mother Bear Found Dead After Reports Of Gunshots

BEAVER CREEK, Colo. (CBS4) – Officials from Colorado Parks and Wildlife say they are investigating the death of a mother bear in the Beaver Creek area.People reported hearing gunshots before finding the bear on Sunday near the Eagle County community.
State officials say the bear didn’t have any gunshot wounds or signs of being poisoned.
The bear leaves three cubs behind, two of which were captured and taken to a rehabilitation center.
