Mild weekend ahead for the metro area after a warm week broke two records
Following a week of more broken records, the urban corridor should have a mild — albeit cloudy — weekend.
Highs are expected to stay around 63 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday, National Weather Service spokesman Kyle Fredin said. Lows Saturday should hang near 40 degrees while dropping slightly lower Sunday to the mid- to upper-30s.
Temperatures are calming down after Denver broke its third record for the month this week, hitting 67 degrees Wednesday and 75 degrees Thursday.&
