Mesa Verde Illuminates Cliff Palace With Luminarias

MESA VERDE, Colo. (CBS4)– The Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde was illuminated for the holidays in what is a long-standing tradition at the park.The cliff dwellings were lit with lanterns while luminarias lined the pathways of the headquarters area of the park on Wednesday night.
The luminarias have been a part of the Mesa Verde Holiday Open House since 1988. This year there were more than 4,000 luminarias. (credit: Cristy Brown)
