Manitou Incline Visitors To Pay More To Park

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)– People who hike up the Manitou Incline will pay more to park at the base of the Barr Trail to access the incline.
The Manitou Incline is a mile-long hike with an elevation gain of 2,000 feet in Manitou Springs west of Colorado Springs, but heavy foot traffic and rain have eroded the trail over the years.

Manitou Springs City Council members voted to double parking fees in an effort to reduce traffic. City leaders hope visitor
