Man Sentenced After Killing Toddler Because She Soiled Herself

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A man will spend 48 years in prison for killing a toddler in Aurora.
Shane Campbell, 26, was sentenced this week for the death in 2015. Prosecutors say he struck his girlfriend’s 3-year-old daughter.

Campbell later said he hit the girl because she soiled herself.
The girl suffered a seizure after she was struck and did not survive.
