Man Killed By Lightning Strike At Golf Course In Arvada

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) – A man was killed after getting struck by lightning on a golf course Tuesday evening.
According to Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Daniel H. Pruett, the victim has been identified as a 23-year-old.
The man was struck by lightning at the Indian Tree Golf Course in Arvada sometime after 6 p.m.
Golfers told CBS4 the storm moved in quickly but many were hoping to wait out the storm. But once the lightning started everyone went straight back to the clubhouse.
