Man Hit By Train In Longmont, Loses Leg

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) – A man lost his leg after being hit by a train in Longmont Wednesday night.
It happened at 10:08 p.m. on South Hover Road just south of Ken Pratt Boulevard.
Longmont Police said the train crew spotted the man lying across the tracks before he was hit. They applied full brake power but still dragged the 22-year-old under the train for 85 feet.
