Man Gets 10 Years For DUI Crash That Killed Bicyclist

GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) — A 20-year-old man who was driving drunk when he hit and killed a father who was riding his bicycle on Lookout Mountain Road near Golden has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Zachary Strnad, of Aurora, was sentenced Friday for the Aug. 21 crash that killed 38-year-old Thomas Flanagan, of Golden. Strnad previously pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and DUI.
