Lightning Strike Likely Caused House Fire In Estes Park

ESTES PARK, Colo. (CBS4) – Firefighters in Estes Park battled a house fire they say was possibly caused by a lightning strike Saturday afternoon.
According to officials the home was fully involved when firefighters arrived.

Nobody was home at the time and nobody was injured. The official cause hasn’t been released but witnesses said they heard a lightning strike moments before the fire started.
