LED Lights Make Communities Across Metro Area Brighter

DENVER (CBS4)– Communities across the Denver metro area will be brighter as Xcel Energy installs LED streetlights.The project started in Highlands Ranch and will include Littleton, Englewood, Sheridan, Wheat Ridge and Glendale.The LED lights use less electricity and will last longer. They will also need less maintenance and won’t be replaced as often. (credit: CBS)
Xcel Energy believes the new lights will save more than $55,000 yearly. That savings could be passed on to Xcel customer
