Leadville Man Who Stomped On Ex-Girlfriend’s Head Gets Lengthy Sentence

LEADVILLE, Colo. (CBS4) – A Leadville man whose brutal beating of his former girlfriend included stomping on her head received a lengthy sentence on Monday.
According to the district attorney in the Fifth Judicial District, Patrick Irwin, 41, was sentenced to 24 years in prison for first degree burglary, second degree assault and criminal trespass for the Oct. 22, 2013 attack.
Another 16 years for assault and three years for trespassing to be served concurrently with the burglary sentence
