Latest Forecast: Warm, Windy Before Cold Front Arrives Monday Night

DENVER (CBS4) – After a generally nice weekend, high temperatures will remain near 80 degrees along the Front Range on Monday. It will become windy by the afternoon with southwesterly winds gusting up to 35 mph. A RED FLAG WARNING has been posted for lower elevations from noon until 7 p.m. thanks to the combination of warm temperatures, low humidity, and gusty winds. Together this will increase the threat for wildfires today.
The first genuine cold front of the season wil
