Latest Forecast: Toasty Tuesday Statewide

DENVER (CBS4) – The Summer Solstice arrived on Monday and the Summer heat will ramp up for Tuesday.
In Denver, the record high is 99 degrees set in 2007 and the official high temperature may get just a few degrees away from that. There is some moisture in the atmosphere available for isolated afternoon thunderstorms from Denver and central Colorado down into the southern part of the state. Hopefully, that will help to cool things of a little.
