Latest Forecast: Storm Causes Rain And Snow Plus Very Cool Temperatures

DENVER (CBS4) – A upper-level storm system passing over Colorado Thursday will cause widespread rain and snow through much of the morning. The snow will be limited to areas west of Genesee, Morrison, Golden and Lyons where up to 6 inches is possible including along I-70 approaching the tunnels. The precipitation will stay all rain for the Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins areas. Everything should start to taper off by lunchtime and only a few lingering rain and snow
