By Ed GreeneDENVER (CBS4) – Thursday turned out to be another hot one – reaching 96 degrees at the airport and 94 degrees downtown.We did see storms around the state, more plentiful over the mountains and west but they never really got going over the metro area or eastern plains and those that did develop were few and far between and not very strong.enough rain in the northwest prompted the issuance of a Flash Flood Watch for the northwest for the late afternoon and evening hours.Tom
