Latest Forecast: Scattered Storms Expected As We End The Week

By Dave AguileraDENVER (CBS4) – A few afternoon thunderstorms are expected as we move through the afternoon and early evening today.
Along and east of Interstate 25 there is the potential for some of these to be strong or severe with large hail the primary threat.
Unfortunately these storms will not bring widespread precipitation but some locally heavy rain is possible.
The trend for the weekend and early next week will be more of the same with high fire danger due to hot and dry weather.
