Latest Forecast: Scattered Afternoon Showers & Storms

By Chris SpearsDENVER (CBS4) – The afternoon will be mostly sunny and hot with occasional passing clouds across Colorado.
Some of those clouds will turn into scattered showers and thunderstorms that will offer some temporary relief from the heat.
A few of the storms could become strong on the far northeast plains near the Kansas and Nebraska state line later this evening.The temperatures will go even higher tomorrow before we catch a slight break on Thursday as a weak cold front passes by
