Latest Forecast: Now Temperatures will Surge Above Normal

DENVER (CBS4) –
Just a quick bit of rain in Denver this afternoon, overall we had a mix of sunshine and clouds. Parts of the eastern plains saw a few thunderstorms with heavier rain and a little bit of hail. Temperatures climbed back to the upper 80s after our brief cool down on Wednesday to the 70s. We officially hit 87 degrees in Denver.
