Latest Forecast: Less Heat With A Few Storms Monday

DENVER (CBS4) – A ridge of high pressure has been hanging out over Colorado bringing in heat and a few gusty, storms. This high will weaken a bit to start the week with slightly cooler air flowing in Monday morning.
The small weather pattern change will have many areas seeing a drop in afternoon highs by about 5 degrees or so. There is also a little better chance for late day thunderstorms to develop in and near the Front Range and adjacent plains.
