Latest Forecast: First Freeze Friday Morning Gives Way To Warmer Weekend

DENVER (CBS4) – The average first freeze of the season in Denver occurs on October 7. And ironically enough, here on October 7, we experienced our first official freeze of the season when DIA dropped to 32° shortly after midnight. The combination of clear skies and light winds responsible for the freezing temperatures will also create widespread fog over Northern Colorado including Greeley and Fort Morgan. Visibility in these areas will drop to less than 1/4 mile
